Taing Kim Meng, entrepreneur, church planter and all together great person. Taing has planted two churches since being trained by metamorphic’s Asian team, with amazing impact as he and his family have seen hundreds of peoples lives improve significantly.

Taing talks about life before the training which was a stark contrast to life today. Pre – training he talks about how his family would live on 1 kg of rice and two eggs each week which was both demoralising and bad for the families health.

Upon returning from the metamorphic training he had a new spring in his step and a new passion for his community and the people in it. Now he understood better, how money worked and how he could build a successful business – so her did. In this process he not only broke the poverty cycle in his own life but also others in the community, as he began to share his knew knowledge of budgeting and business plans. His son began to mentor local youth and teach them how to fix mobile phones and make a living. Taing began to teach lessons on basic business principals and their hard work paid off.

Taing and his family successfully implemented a sanitation and hygiene program that reduced water borne disease and made the community more productive and better informed. The village began to take responsibility for their future and stopped making excuses for their lack of success.

Taing’s church also began the process of transformation as they began to be much more optimistic and began to speak words of faith.

Taing didn’t come from an educated background, he didn’t inherit any wealth or land, in fact it had seemed that opportunity had always avoided him. But with a new mind set and belief that God was very interested in his community he began the process of transformation in his village and the next. The results have been outstanding and a credit to the determination of Taing and his family and a testament to the faithfulness of God.

Taing experienced freedom from poverty as his businesses grew and as a generous person he shared that success with others that they also may experience this freedom.
